The Symposium attracts a large number of people, please drive at an appropriate speed and on singlre track roads use the passing places to allow both passing and overtaking traffic to proceed. Remember the driver behind you could be a doctor going to an emergency.
Via Kyle of LochalshFollow the A87 through Kyle of Lochalsh and over the bridge (Toll Free) to Skye At the first roundabout take the third exit, the A87 for Portree and Uig. After about 8 miles, having passed thorough Breakish and Skulamus turn left onto the A851 for Armadale - the junction is just before Broadford. Follow this road for approximately 12 miles passing through Duisdale, Teangue and Kilmore. look out for the primary school on the left. After the school take the second turning on the left for "Arainn Chaluim Chille"
Via MalliagFollow the A830 from Fort William to Mallaig. Take the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to Armadale on Skye. Follow the A851 North for approximately 2 miles look for the entrance "Arainn Chaluim Chille" on the right.If you opt for this route you will have to pre-book your vehicle on the ferry. The ferry journey is approximately 20 minutes
Scottish City Link's service to Uig from Glasgow calls at Broadford. They also have a service to Fort William where Shiel Buses operate a weekday and Saturday (Summer only) to Mallaig.
Stagecoach Buses operate a service from Broadford to Armadale.
